DJI Mavic Pro drone – small, foldable, but extremely powerful and intelligent

DJI Mavic Pro foldable drone

The DJI Mavic Pro follows in the footsteps of the GoPro Karma drone. This one is also foldable, and in contrast to GoPro's newcomer, it is much more compact, as you can put it in a bag or a small backpack. Still, it has everything the greats have. We control it with a smartphone or a special controller with joysticks.

Drones are getting smaller and smaller. Such as GoPro, who recently presented Karma, is also Chinese DJI offered users their first foldable drone, who hears the name DJI Mavic Pro. This is half the size and weight of their Phantom flagship.

You can control the DJI Mavic Pro with a remote control or smartphone.

It is extremely intelligent, thanks to the combination of sensors and processors that ensure accurate tracking (technology ActiveTrack) and obstacle avoidance (technology FlightAutonomy allows him to detect obstacles 30 meters in front of him), which the standard bearer can also do Phantom 4, but they added many new functions to the newcomer, such as Gesture Mode, which allows the user to signal the drone with gestures to take a selfie or drones, as we call selfies taken by a drone. They have also improved the way of tracking, because unlike the Phantom, the Mavic Pro not only picks up a randomly selected subject, but distinguish between people, cars, animals and bicycles. These can be followed from behind, in front, from the side, or circled around them.

You can get away from the operator seven kilometers and at the same time on YouTube, Facebook, etc. delivers a live image in high definition (1080p). It flies to the shelves October 15, 2016, but it will have to be measured 670 euros without remote control or 890 euros with it, which is slightly more affordable than the GoPro Karma.
