In Sweden, they tried to unravel the mysterious connection between the feet and the time we spend on Earth. Are they serious?

Can shoe size really affect length of life?

The secret to a long and healthy life probably lies in a complex interplay of factors such as genetics, lifestyle, environment and also the ability to maintain balance in daily life.

The size of your feet may provide insight, but a holistic approach to healthy living is key.

In Sweden, researchers analyzed data to examine possible links between shoe size and life expectancy. With the help of computer data they analyzed persons from all parts of the country and found that foot size could play a role in lifespan. According to their findings, there is a certain relationship between the number of shoes and longevity, which has attracted the attention of many.

How shoe size affects life expectancy in women

The results of the survey show that women who wear a size 38 have the highest life expectancy, ranging from 78 to 84 years. On the other hand, women with smaller feet, such as a size 35, have a slightly shorter life expectancy, from 64 to 69 years. For women with sizes larger than 39, life expectancy ranges from 73 to 75 years, giving the researchers insight into a previously unseen correlation.

Men with larger feet live longer

A similar connection was also found in men. Men who wear shoe size 42 have the longest life expectancy at 75 to 82 years. Those with smaller numbers, such as size 38, have a life expectancy of between 66 and 69 years. Although the results do not mean that shoe size directly affects lifespan, the researchers believe there are interesting connections that deserve further attention.
