An ambitious triptych from different parts of Mexico City. The first episode is about a young man, Octavio, who makes big money with his brother's dog in illegal dogfights. Another story is about a model who moves into a new apartment with her married lover; their happiness is interrupted by a car accident and the disappearance of the model's salon dog. The third story follows an aging professional killer who takes care of stray dogs. While plotting another murder, he wants to make amends with his daughter, whom he hasn't seen in years.
