The festival of urban culture or FUKSi 2019 also follows its planned path in its third edition: on the last holiday weekend (August 30 and 31), with an evening block party in Tobačna, it will once again raise the urban pulse of the capital with a green, sustainable integration of creative energies on stage and under it. Along with another undisclosed guest, serial hitmaker and festival hero Röyksopp will fly in from Norway as the festival's main headliners.
Who is coming to the festival? FUKSi 2019? On Friday, the pioneer of club music and one of the favorites of the Slovenian dance audience will present himself in a setting where hip hop and (ware) house culture were mixed in New York in the 80s. A classic by the Grammy-winning author Needin' U, How Do You Feel, Here I Am, Gimme Luv, In De Ghetto ..., a close collaborator of the legendary Frankie Knuckles and an iconic remixer of pop and rock giants (Michael and Janet Jackson, Eric Clapton, INXS, Madonna, U2, Mariah Carey, Kylie, Celine, Jamiroquai, etc.) will be accompanied by the creators of popular retro house parties in Tabacna Pure Oldies Goldies from the Ljubljana Flower Shop.
On Saturday, fans of live music and mixing genres will be in for a treat. After the epic conclusion of last year's #FUKsi, she returns to Tobačna upgraded Dessert with DJ Zeds and guests, and with another undisclosed guest, serial hitmakers and festival heroes will fly in from Norway as the main headliners of the festival Röyksopp.
Svein and Torbjørn started the Röyksopp project in 1998, in which they mix dance electronics, ambient and synthetic pop music. They impressed the world with their debut album Melody AM, which was followed by four more excellent albums and two unforgettable compilations (Back to Mine, Late Night Tales), and ravaged the charts and radio with hits They're Easy, Apple, Poor Leno, Remind Me, Sparks, Only This Moment, 49 Percent, What Else Is There, Happy Up There, The Girl and the Robot, Do it Again, Sordid Affair, Never Ever...
