At Milan Fashion Week, Dolce&Gabbana took us to the south of Italy, to romantic Sicily, ruled by fairy-tale creatures dressed in the most luxurious clothes, with their medieval-inspired fashion show for the winter season 2015. Let's surrender to a fairy tale ruled by boldness, sensuality and sophistication.
Brave queens, main heroines of fairy tales Dolce & Gabbana for the coming colder season, the two designers put on low pointed loafers and boots reminiscent of medieval footwear and equipped them with luxurious helmets that will repel even the sharpest arrow with their powerful jewels.
Looking at the cloaks reminiscent of medieval cloaks in black, purple and petrol green, a beautiful blood red cloak with a roomy hood that Little Red Riding Hood could only dream of, a sensual body hugging black lace dress, a beautifully embroidered cloak trimmed with luxurious fur, a wool dress in the color of the most delicious caramel with a floral print and a floor-length red chiffon dress, we can quickly forget that we are admiring ready-to-wear collection. Our breath also stops when we look at the handbags, especially the miniature box, sprinkled with beautiful jewels, in which we can fit only the most important.
If we are not impressed by the collection, we will be charmed by it glamorous finish, as for the finale, a whole troupe of heroines steps onto the runway, dressed in glittering clothes reminiscent of medieval armor, but with the difference that they reach no lower than mid-thigh.
