The whole performance is made like a reverse version of Cinderella with independent additions by the director. It emphasizes the principle of justice and fairness and shows a person with good and bad qualities. Once upon a time there lived a husband and wife who had a lovely and extremely kind son, who fell into a bucket of ashes one day when he was still young, and from then on everyone called him Cinderella. They were a happy family until the husband fell ill and died. Due to poverty, the widowed wife soon remarried and married a widower who also had two sons from a previous marriage. He was a haughty man with a quick temper and a corrupt character. His sons were beautiful, well-groomed, but just as evil. Immediately after the wedding, the whole family showed their true colors and began to impose the most difficult and dirty tasks on the stepson. Despite everything, Pepelko patiently endured all the troubles, he didn't even complain to his mother. The latter was away a lot, so he didn't want to give her additional worries. One day, word spread throughout the kingdom about a royal ball to which the most beautiful boys in the land were invited. The king's daughter, a noble and extremely beautiful princess, is said to have chosen her future husband at the dance. Pepelko's brothers were among those invited, as their father had quite a few acquaintances from the noble ranks. They were so excited that there was nothing else to talk about in the house but dancing. This meant even more work for poor Cinderella, as he had to serve them from the front and the back. When the long-awaited day finally arrived, Cinderella also expressed her desire to visit the princess, but the evil stepfather set an impossible condition for him, so he sadly surrendered to his fate, until she scared him...
