As girls, we put our barbies in a Barbie house, and now we can spend our holidays in it ourselves. Also free.
A real Barbie house? Yes, in Malibu! So called Barbie's Malibu DreamHouse is the right solution for all those who got pink fever after the release of the Barbie movie. We found it on Airbnb, where the Californian property was presented some time ago, but it has never received so much interest before.
Barbie house
The luxurious pink mansion is intended more for Ken than for Barbie. This is evidenced by the magnificent premises of the pink mansion and the completely renovated estate, where everything is still in the brand of Barbie objects. Even if you are not a fan of Barbies, it makes sense to check out this holiday accommodation, as it offers a superb location with a beautiful view of the sea coast.
The life-size Barbie house features neon pink, glittering disco balls, flashing neon lights and an array of amenities perfect for even the most discerning of guests. Thanks to Ken, she was outfitted in a rodeo style with plenty of cowboy motifs, including a saloon with swinging doors. Guests will also be able to walk through Ken's wardrobe and choose clothes for the beach.
The giant viewing terrace also has a sandbox, fire pit, outdoor grill and even a gym. Also for the sake of accessories, it can be expected that the accommodation will become a real hit on Instagram. As a parting gift, guests will take home their own set of yellow and pink Impala inline skates and boards.
The strangest thing about all of this is that Ken graciously offers all his comforts for free. You heard right, as part of the charity campaign, selected lucky people will stay in the mansion for free, and Airbnb will make a donation to Save the Children, an organization that provides learning resources and support to communities in more than 100 countries. The goal of the organization is to build girls' self-confidence and help them succeed in school. Prospective guests can register at the Malibu DreamHouse on the Airbnb website for two individual one-night stays for a maximum of two guests.
“We all have dreams and Barbie is lucky to have a house full of them,” Ken said of his partnership with Airbnb.
