At the end of August, the events in Goriške Brdy will once again be marked by the literary and musical festival Sanje in Medana. The locations in Medana, Šmartno, Vipolže Castle and Dobrovo Castle will host first-class musical events, literary talks, fairytale performances and other unforgettable adventures on stage. The project traditionally attracts local and cross-border visitors as well as tourists and audiences from the wider Slovenia.
It is a traditional festival Dreams in Medana divided into two parts: Smart, fairytale village and Dreams in Medana – poetry and music events in Medana and Dobrov. This year they added something new: Dream forum – a forum discussion of social researchers on the topic of Life Opposite forms will fail, but as an introduction we can expect a concert again World Hysteria Orchestra in Ljubljana (August 21) - playful processions of 80's musicians from 20 countries, which will lift the mood through the streets of Ljubljana and announce the Sanje festival in Medana.
The novelty of this year's festival is also the festival package Wandering with Sanja, which, in addition to visiting the festival, includes an overnight stay and daily trips around the nearby and slightly less nearby surroundings of the Goriške Brde. There will also be daily transportation to the festival site from major cities in Slovenia.
