We have a great recipe for a homemade pedicure that will make your feet dreamy soft and beautiful!
These days, you must have jumped into sandals and flip-flops to show off your feet. If you've neglected them a bit over the winter (well, let's just say we didn't really jump into sandals until earlier this week), there's a good chance that the skin dry, rough and hard, which of course does not look the best. You can always make an appointment with a pedicurist, but sometimes it's enough to make your dream feet come true domestic laurel, where you add exactly what you need for beautiful and soft feet. And we have the recipe!
The recipe for dreamy soft and beautiful feet consists of from two ingredients, which you almost certainly have at home.
Ingridients
- 2 to 4 cups of milk
- handful of baking soda
- a large basin, i.e. large enough that you can put both feet in it at once
How do you make a homemade foot bath?
Heat the milk, but be careful not to make it too hot. Add milk as needed - 2 or 4 cups - depending on how big your pelvis is and how big your feet are. Then pour the milk into a bowl where you can put both feet at once. Soak them in milk for 5 minutes. Then slowly sprinkle the bath with baking soda. Mix it in with the help of your feet. Soak the skin especially well on those parts where it is hard and thick. Massage these areas with the help of a bath and don't worry about helping yourself with this with your hands. Don't forget to soak the upper part of your feet and joints as well - if they are not in the bath, massage them with it. This is the part of the foot that is most noticeable when wearing sandals or flip flops. After massaging your feet, soak them for a while. When you're done, wash your feet in warm water and dry them.
You should see an effect immediately. This combination works because it the ingredients complement each other perfectly. Milk contains lactic acid, which is supposed to softens the skin, and baking soda has abrasive properties, which means it can removes dry and rough skin, when it softens.
