The Drummers of Burundi are most famous for the fact that every year they perform at the athletics meeting in the big stadium in Brussels, where runners are encouraged to win new victories and break records with their drumming. Their drums are made of animal skins, and their performances are passed down from generation to generation, thus remaining true to Burundian tradition.
The organizers are said to have almost agreed on their performance in Ljubljana two decades, and they will perform on the stage of the Gallus hall of Cankarjev dom November 15, 2015 and thus, despite the autumn, they took us to the heart of exotic Africa with their rhythms.
