The members of the MGM racing team, with the support of the importer, presented the citroën DS3 R3 racing car, with which Grega Premrl and Gregor Brešer will compete at Rally Saturnus this year.
The MGM racing team, presented a new two-wheel drive racing car, the citroën DS3 R3. Under the hood of the racing car, which is the fruit of the knowledge acquired in the framework of the world rally championship in which the team Citroën Racing, which has been one of the key players for many years, is equipped with a 1.6-liter turbo gasoline engine developed by the sports division on the basis of the serial engine that runs in various models of the PSA group. By using parts specific to racing cars, the engine can do it 210 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque.
R3 class racing car for 83 thousand
Racing Citroen DS3 R3, which you can also afford by paying 83,450 euros, is also equipped with three-level adjustable shock absorbers, a hydraulic handbrake and, most importantly, with a six-speed sequential gearbox. Its management is semi-automatic, like a racing one Citroen C4 WRC. For the safety of the crew, whose greatest success is winning the traditional Rally to Saturn, is provided by the original steel body, reinforced with a multi-point welded cage.
Jump to the top of the national championship?
By purchasing a vehicle DS3 R3 are team goals MGM racing mainly aimed at getting to know the vehicle and successful promotion. With the new racing car, this year the talented 23-year-old from Postojna, who is participating in rallying for only the third season, will gain new knowledge and experience with appearances at the national championship of Slovenia, the Mitropa Cup and the international championship of Croatia, which will come in handy next season, when the team is planning to appear in two rallies of the WRC group and the DS3 Cup.
