A new island has formed in Pakistan after a deadly 7.7-magnitude earthquake. But the locals say that an island was formed in a similar location already 60 years ago.
But even then, it quickly disappeared back into the sea after the earthquake, so they believe that the same thing will happen to the new island. The island is up to 100 meters high at its highest points and 200 meters wide. Most of the island is just rocks, mud and sand. The Pakistani media has already named the island "Zalzala Jazeera", which translates as earthquake island.
