Mascara is without a doubt an indispensable element in the makeup application routine. If you've been using it for a long time, you're probably sure that you've mastered the application method completely and don't intend to change it. But you might change your mind when you see a viral trick from the Tik Tok platform that promises long and thick eyelashes.
Mascara you most likely apply by placing the mascara brush on your lashes and pulling in the upward direction. But the trick that became famous on the social network Tik Tok, represents a completely different way.
User @makeupbylyna, who posted the video, named her technique zig-zag. The way is completely easy and does not require additional purchases – all you'll need is the mascara you already have and a mirror. So how to long and thick eyelashes?
First, tighten the skin around the outer corner of the eye with your finger in the outward direction. Next, grab the mascara with your other hand where it should be brush directed vertically. Then pull the brush a few times along the eyelashes, in both directions.
When you do, the time is well known, the classic way of application, i.e. from the root of the eyelash towards the top. When you are done with this step, remove the residue mascara that has accumulated on your eyelid.
Of course, the easiest way to perfect the technique is to watch it a few times video.
