And this king of stand-up comedy is coming to Ljubljana on April 14, 2019, where he will present his new show Wunderbar.
Five years after his hit comedy Force Majeure, which went down in comedy history with performances in as many as 45 countries around the world and also in all fifty US states, Eddie Izzard is going back to his roots with his brand new show. Wunderbar discusses his a unique, surrealistic view of love, history and his own "theory of the universe". A play in English can contain strong and imaginatively inspired language.
It's Izzard sold out shows all over the world, from Shanghai to Mumbai, including New York's Madison Square Garden and even the prestigious The Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.
“The time is approaching when I will have to leave and devote myself to political life for a while. But before that happens, I want to offer my best stand up comedy performances to audiences around the world - special now in the age of Brexit – and Trump hatred. My new show covers themes of humanity for the last 100,000 years, to talking dogs and animal superheroes. I look forward to seeing you again," adds Eddie Izzard.
