The one-day urban festival Itak Džafest will feature top British musicians from the band Editors. They have already impressed and gained a large following with their first album The Back Room. Success stories, such as Munich, Bullets and Blood, launched them into the biggest rock stars of the Island overnight. The second album, An End Has a Start, surpassed the success of their debut. The first place in the British album chart also earned the group a nomination for the prestigious Brit Award. The third album followed in 2009, which received numerous critical praise and a very warm reception among fans. The guys are currently on a European tour and will also stop here. They are preparing their fourth studio album and are very active in all areas. In addition to Editors, The Wombats, an indie pop group from Liverpool, will be spoiling us with music at Itak Džafest. Their debut album The Wombats Proudly Present: A Guide to Love, Loss & Desperation ranked eleventh among the most successful British albums of the year. The band Dubioza Kolektiv will also perform, whose politically charged lyrics touch on peace, tolerance, and understanding of fellow human beings, while also containing extreme criticism of nationalism and the injustices that took place in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Toronto Drug Bust is a Slovenian-Finnish band. The five-member rock and roll band perfectly combines rock, blues, and indie music into an explosive mix of top-notch music. Danza Macabra, a duo consisting of Edin Čuturič and Martin Rojnik, will provide dance-electronic rhythms. We are looking forward to another evening of top-notch music and great energy.
