The EICMA motorcycle fair attracts crowds of motorcycle enthusiasts of all kinds to Milan. It is always possible to see something interesting, from novelties, concepts, prototypes or just upgrades of already existing models.
The EICMA trade fair traditionally takes place in the month of November, which is just the right time for motorcycle enthusiasts they drool before the next motorcycle season. Only this one ended well, and already us they tease with future and all new models.
On the other hand, here is December, month of giving and why not come up with something special, two-wheeled gift. We have selected a few for you to make your selection easier more interesting examples from this year's motorcycle show.
1. Arc Vector
Arc Vector is definitely a specialty of this year's motorcycle fair. Surrounded by blackness and full of mystery. Arc Vector is an electric motorcycle that has an electric motor with power 103 kW and top speed 200 km/h. The battery is charged in 30 minutes and has enough energy to do 320 kilometers driven. The motorcycle comes with a helmet Zenith and a biker jacket Origin. The helmet projects riding information onto the visor and is also equipped with the camera for looking back, like a car's rear-view mirror. Driver's jacket with by vibrating warns to possible dangers that threaten him. They will only do 399 Vectors, and each of them costs 117,000 US dollars.
2. BMW
At BMW, the greatest interest was in the new generation of sports motorcycle BMW S 1000 RR. He is a third generation athlete easier, faster and has a narrower fuel tank for even better performance coexistence between man and machine. Get a new engine 207 horsepower, and also offers a system for quick shifting, without the use of a clutch. It is available M performance upgrade package, which is something like at automotive branches of BMW.
Another big innovation was the trio of models BMW R 1250. They will replace the existing R 1200 R and R 1200 RS models, and add the Adventure equipment level to the R 1250 GS model. R 1250 R will thus be intended for entertainment, as it is about 'somewhere' motorcycle version. RS 1250 represents sports and travel motorcycle and as the name suggests R 1250 GS Adventure, which is a lot traveling motorcycle, also suitable for off-road terrains. All water had a finished engine in size 1,254 cc and 136 horsepower. We will be able to monitor all information about the engines via the new one 6.5-inch color TFT screen.
3. Ducati
Even at Ducati they did not stand idly by and diligently updated the existing models and added some innovations. The Ducati Diavel 1260, Hypermotard 950 and, during the year, as many as four so-called 'Scrambler' models received renovations. The Ducati Multistrada 1260 Enduro attracted the most interest, which we have already written about and of course Ducati Panigale V4 R, which by upgrading the exhaust system Akrapovic produces 234 horsepower and thereby becomes the strongest serially a motorcycle with an internal combustion engine.
It is also worth mentioning Ducati Monster 1200 25th Anniversary, which marks 25th anniversary since the introduction of the Monster model, and in a limited series they will only produce 500 copies.
4. Harley-Davidson
At Harley-Davidson everything more or less revolved around the new and their first electric motorcycle Harley-Davidson Livewire. Fortunately for many, a production motorcycle will be one that as presented a few months ago. Exact numbers are not yet known, but it is known that it will be available 7 inch TFT color screen on touch and that the mechanical parts were between the engine and the drive belt on purpose designed so that they will produce electric 'Harley' sound.
5. Honda
At Honda, it is worth mentioning the arrival of a new one Honda CB650R, which replaces the predecessor CB650F, which is placed somewhere in the middle of Honda's range and represents 'somewhere' motorcycle version. It boasts of new ones frame and lower weight compared to its predecessor.
A lot of attention was paid 500 cc to the big engine around which the sports ones were created CBR500R, more traveling CB500X and CB500F, which could be placed between the two aforementioned motorcycles. The Honda Gold Wing received a makeover, and as interesting things we can also mention a bunch of updated 'off-road' or cross-country motorcycles, the Honda Monkey and Honda Super Cub 125, who has been with us for a long time 60 years.
6. Husqvarna
Husqvarna surprised with a striking concept dressed in a combination of blue and white. Husqvarna Vitpilen 701 AERO Concept used for propulsion 693 cc big engine and has only one cylinder. The motorcycle is more than obviously ready for the race track and those the most sporting pleasures. But he was more interesting than that Svartpilen 701, which in the end is only ready for serial production. Only this should be in the driver's seat, with assistance modern technologies, conjured up the sensations of riding a motorcycle from of the past. It has noticeable LEDs front light, and it will also be equipped with a quick-shift system.
7. Kawasaki
At Kawasaki have introduced a new version of the model W800. His distant ancestor with the mark W1 was in 60s of the last century the largest motorcycle in Japanese. A retro motorcycle is powered by a displacement engine 773 cc, and the brake system ensures a safe stop ABS.
The Kawasaki Ninja just got its 'naked' brother in shape Kawasaki Z400, which is not only a 'stripped down' version of a sports bike, but offers more comfortable sitting and has the same engine as the Ninja 400.
It is also worth mentioning Kawasaki Ninja H2 SX SE+, which got a bunch technical accessories, with which this toxic motorcycle is significantly easier manageable. The Kawasaki Versys 1000 SE LT+ has been improved in a similar way.
8. KTM
Austrian KTM introduced a new model KTM 790, which will fill the gap between the smaller 450 Rally and 690 Enduro and between the larger 1090 Adventure and 1290 Super Adventure, making it also more affordable. Both motorcycles, 790 Adventure and 790 Adventure R, will drive a displacement engine 799 cc, found in the 790 Duke model, in that it will offer more power at lower ones speeds and will continue to do so more efficient.
They presented a model for the youngest KTM SX-E5, powered by an electric motor with power 5 kW, and the batteries provide enough energy for 2 hours driving for beginners or 25 minutes with almost professional off-road drivers. The battery is recharged in one hour.
9. Kymco
Kymco is known as a manufacturer for smaller and accessible scooters, but lately they have been playing with electrically driven motorcycles. Kymco SuperNEX is a step further as it represents prototype sports electric motorcycle. Its capabilities are breathtaking, the maximum speed is 250 km/h and from 0 to 100 km/h accelerate into less than three seconds. To make all this manageable, they installed a special system for quick starting, and in addition added a kind of gearbox without a clutch, despite the fact that the electric motor does not need it. All this just so that we would still have it feeling that we are on motorcycle.
10. MV Agusta
MV Agusta marked the fair with its concept Superveloce 800 Concept and a special series Brutale Serie Oro. There are no known technical data about the concept, but we can say that they are retro motorcycle shapes again popular. Frame from carbonaceous fiber covered by a bodywork reminiscent of that of 70s of the last century.
Limited series Brutale Serie Oro will be made in le 300 copies, but it is a special edition of the Brutale motorcycle, which is a little bit in itself 'checked off'. Liter the engine produces 208 horsepower, which is enviable. Among other things, this means that the MV Agusta Brutale Serie Ono is one of the the fastest 'naked' motorcycles in the world.
11. Royal Enfield
Around 1930, they Royal Enfield produced a motorcycle named KX. At the time, it was the biggest, fastest, most prestigious motorcycle on the market. If we fast-forward to the present day, we can admire the latest concept Royal Enfield KX. It reminds us of the past and has a long and low silhouette. Although it looks old at first glance, it is full modern technologies, which can already be seen by LED headlights. The electrical cables are hidden, which further emphasizes the retro feel of the concept.
12. Triumph
At Triumph presented some new and renewed Scramblers, but more than that two special editions impressed, Triumph Bonneville T120 Ace Edition and Triumph Bonneville T120 Diamond Edition. The first one will be available in 1,400 copies, and the other in 900 copies. The two special editions are each dressed in their own color, with the Ace Edition standing out black, and with the Diamond Edition white color and chrome plated shares. The Diamond Edition commemorates Bonneville's 60th anniversary and 60 successful years on the market. Ace Edition is dedicated to London Ace Café, which is actually the spiritual home of English motorcycling.
13. Yamaha
In addition to renovations of existing models, Yamaha exposed the model Ténéré 700 and Niken GT. A light, agile, off-road and versatile motorcycle Yamaha Ténéré was long overdue. A motorcycle is powered by a displacement engine 689 cc, and the prototypes were subjected to the harshest conditions to undergo truly thorough testing. The front part and the windshield were designed in a way that allows the maximum rebound rain and wind that the driver receives while driving bigger pleases.
The Yamaha Niken is a well-known three-wheeled motorcycle, version Niken GT and adds to that additional space for luggage and suitcases, and that's it increases its usefulness and becomes even more useful travel engine.
