Winter does not show excessive teeth, so there are more and more cyclists on the roads. Communication between drivers of motor vehicles and bicycles is not always the best. Yearly in Europe on the roads as many as 2,000 cyclists die. In order for these statistics to improve, they are at the company Ford as part of the initiative Share the Road presented cycling jacket with LED display, named Emoji Jacket. Her mission is to improve communication between cyclist and driver after him and to warn of a change of direction respectively road conditions.
In the design, in addition to the classic arrows, Ford also used an emoticon or a smiley, which is easy happy or sad. With this, the cyclist shows his mood at what is happening on the road. It can also "light up". warning triangle with exclamation mark, who signals to the driver behind him speed change respectively obstacle on the road. Similar solutions have already been seen in backpacks, which also indicated the direction of the cyclist's turn. The biker jacket commands through controls, which are installed on the balance. Ford has not released yet, when the Emoji Jacket will be available, nor how much it will cost.
