The ETNO URBAN festival will take place from June 13 to 16, 2012 in the atrium of the Celje Youth Center.
In the spirit that Celje is happening, two festivals have joined together for the third year; Ethno-urban festival of the Celje Youth Center and Džjezz – the princely city's international jazz festival. Once again, plenty of fun and urban pleasures are promised in the company of famous guests from home and abroad...
Introduction to the festival will happen installation performance ANR_T_GALERIJA, on Wednesday, June 13, 2012, at 9:00 p.m.
On the second day, the festival will continue with the KULinary KULtur evening Tastes and experiences of the world: THAI cuisine, Thursday, June 14, 2012, at 8:00 p.m.
The third day will be devoted to music that intertwines from ethno, rock, jazz to funk. Friday night, June 15, 2012, at 9:00 p.m will be musically enlivened SAXOTOXIN and PUT ANOTHER LITER.
We will close the festival with stand up comedy on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at 9:00 p.m., when we will be entertained by recognizable stand-up comedians from Slovenia: LUCIJA ĆIROVIĆ, ANA MARIJA MITIĆ and JANEZ USENIK.
ETNO URBAN festival (EUF) it is one of the larger program projects that we are preparing at the Celje Youth Center and brings an important addition and upgrade of Celje's cultural offer. Festival events have a long tradition in the youth center, as we held the first event of this kind back in 2000. The youth center's summer international festival always offers a high-quality, varied and genre-diverse program from various fields of music, performances and this year's culinary festival.
