Europark celebrates its 25th birthday with top-notch concerts and family entertainment

Last week, Europark in Maribor hosted a four-day celebration of the shopping destination's 25th anniversary. From September 3 to 6, visitors could enjoy musical concerts, special birthday discounts, and family fun. Singing, dancing, and a great atmosphere filled Europark with festive energy that brought together visitors of all generations.

The celebration began on Wednesday, when the Croatian singer Marko Skugor with his exceptional voice, he conjured up a magical atmosphere and took visitors on a musical journey full of emotional melodies and energetic rhythms. On Thursday, the popular Fencers, who provided an unforgettable party full of dancing and singing. Friday evening was marked by nostalgia, as legendary Styrian singers took to the stage: Alfi Nipič, Miracle Fields and Rudi Šantl. Visitors reminisced about familiar melodies and sang their favorite songs. A comedian provided laughter and good cheer with his humorous interludes. Vinko Simek.

Saturday morning was dedicated to families and the youngest visitors. The children screamed and had fun during the performance. Pepe the Fisherman, and then they were thrilled by a very special birthday parade – a walk through Europark 25 colorful mascotsThe youngest ones greeted them enthusiastically, chatted with them and took pictures. For a sweet end to the celebration, all visitors were greeted by a big birthday cake, with which they jointly concluded the celebration of a quarter of a century of Europark.

Diverse events in the coming months

Center manager of Europark, Simona Mandl emphasized on the anniversary that the events at Europark do not end with the birthday: "In the coming months, we are preparing a variety of content with which we want to delight our visitors of all generations. On September 20, a record fair will be held in Europark, and at the end of the month, the European Researchers' Night. Autumn will also bring a virtual presentation of autumn fashion trends, a popular shopping event, an exhibition of small animals, the Honey Festival, St. Martin's Day with Pubec, a winter sports equipment fair and Black Friday. At the end of November, Europark will come alive in a festive atmosphere with a Christmas and New Year's fair," she concluded.
