Slovenian cultural heritage is strongly intertwined with beekeeping. Thus, the bee has become a symbol of hard work, and sweet honey is liquid gold, which we use to prepare a variety of products, tasty treats, and in colder days it can also help us strengthen the immune system. The traditional 9th Europark Honey Festival will be dedicated to beekeepers and honey in the largest shopping center in northeastern Slovenia.
This will be held on the occasion of the Slovenian Food Day, which will take place this year November 15, and in support of the project Traditional Slovenian breakfast. Visitors can meet Slovenian beekeepers and their products in Europark Maribor on Friday and Saturday, November 15 and 16.
