Europe Week is traditionally colored with free events, and it culminates on May 9, when we celebrate Europe Day. In 2015, it will be under the sign of food, which is increasingly becoming a link between the local and the global. If anyone, then the taste buds will come into their own, and of course there will be no shortage of workshops, lectures and exhibitions in Ljubljana and 11 other places in Slovenia, so that even those hungry for knowledge and not just food will be satisfied.
Europe Week in 2015, there will be some kind of event in Ljubljana six-day "open kitchen". It will smell like many delicacies of Europe, and at the stands we will be able to taste, among other things Slovenian protected products, sipped fair trade coffee and familiarized themselves with European projects, the main "ingredient" of which is food. It will also be open language cafe, where food will be talked about in a foreign language, while the local word will flow elsewhere about self-sufficiency, fair trade, social entrepreneurship in the countryside and obtaining the right information about food.
A wheel of fortune will await you at the information stand of the EU House (Breg 14), where your knowledge of the European Union and agricultural policy will be questioned, and it will be waiting for you in the atrium of the house exhibition Agriculture is the law!, which was inspired by an innovative agricultural youngster. It will also be on display 22 Slovenian products, which are under European protection, and the most exciting activity is reserved for children - an investigation of the tastes of the EU, with which they can earn the title EU-detective with taste and the official badge of the EU House.
