The European Basketball Championship 2015 is just around the corner. This year will be something special (well, hands down, EuroBasket 2013, hosted by Slovenia, was even more so), as it is shared by four countries, namely Germany, Latvia, France and Croatia. The proximity (Slovenia will play the preliminaries in Zagreb) will give the championship an extra boost, as we will practically be playing at home again. A real migration of nations is thus expected to the Arena. Since 1993, Slovenia has not missed a single basketball tournament of the old continent, and the last five have always reached the quarterfinals. Is it time to go one step further? The championship starts on September 5 and ends on September 20, 2015, and Slovenia opens it on Saturday with a match against the Croatians.
In Slovenia, European Basketball Championship 2015 (EuroBasket 2015) leaves with a record of six wins and four losses. The burden of the first star and the role of the towing vehicle in the company of Jure Zdovac according to Goran Dragić, who will skip this year's tournament at the request of Vročica, will belong to his brother Zoran Dragić, to the newly minted member of Russian Khimki. Judging by his performances in the preparatory matches, he was not afraid of the challenge.
Because Slovenia will be a match in preliminary group C played in Zagreb in the Arena there, Slovenian fans will once again be the sixth player of the national team, a "trend" that started with EP in Serbia and Montenegro in 2005. It will be especially hot on Saturday, September 5, 2015, when in the Zagreb hall from 9 p.m. on, the promise is said fan cauldron, as the Slovenians will compete against their traditional rivals Croats.
