When we talk about wine regions, it is definitely for all wine lovers Tuscany among the top five in the world (Bordeaux, Burgundy, Champagne, Tuscany, Rioja). That would be the answer of most connoisseurs. Among all the above, however Tuscany stands out for the beauty of the landscape– hills, on top of the hills villages, castles, estates, surrounded by vineyards, fields of wheat, sunflowers and indispensable cypresses.
And the wines? The main vine is Sangiovese and from its clones (and a few percent of other varieties) they make Chianti, Vino Nobile and Brunello. In some places, however, they decided on Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon and made "super Tuscans". There are few white wines, Vernaccia di Sa is mainly known as a varietyn Gimignano. We will try something at the meeting already mature wines from Tuscany, may they be to you a travel guide for self-discovery of this mysterious and beautiful country.
