Italy has listened to the wishes of young people, giving them 500 euros as of September 15, 2016, when they reach the age of majority. But they will not be allowed to waste them on anything, because behind everything there is an elaborate plan.

Everyone who turns 18 will receive the money until December 31, 2016, and they will be able to spend the money on cultural goods until the end of 2017. To receive pocket money, they will have to register on the online platform and download the 18app mobile application, which will give them redeemable vouchers.
The father of the initiative, the undersecretary of the Italian government, Tommaso Nannicini, accompanied the investment in young people as follows: "The initiative sends a clear message to young people - it reminds them of the importance of spending in the field of culture, both for personal growth as strengthening the connective tissue of society.” Next year 500 euro credit it is still waiting for teachers, which they will be able to use for their professional development.
