Society "KVART" – visual culture and art / arte e cultura visiva v cooperation with the "Apeiron" gallery and the studio of the academic sculptor Marko Zelenka in the old center of the city of Izola, it organizes a unique carnival event: An exhibition of unique artistic masks. The masks were made by the members of "KVART": Paride Di Stefano, Irena Plešivčnik, Tanja Plešivčnik, Tea Poles, Katja Smerdu, Marko Zelenko and Martin Zelenko.
The association "KVART", founded last year in Izola, brings together young cultural and academic artists who, with their activities, want to contribute to the revival of traditional skills and customs and to the search for their innovative and creative uses.
The mask exhibition will be open to visitors every day from Wednesday, February 15, to Friday, February 17, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. In the following days, the exhibition will be available for viewing by appointment.
