Dutch non-profit organization Fairphone made a bold decision two years ago when it offered the world a socially responsible smartphone, made according to ethical standards, free from rumors of exploitation of cheap labor and destruction of natural resources for profit, something that many others cannot claim manufacturers of such technological toys. Since the phones were well received by customers, they prepared its successor, the Fairphone 2 modular smartphone, where you won't have to worry if you drop it on the floor.
Fairphone 2 it is modular smartphone, which is otherwise not found in fair trade, but would definitely belong there. It is a Fairphone a non-profit Dutch organization, which provides manufacturers of individual components of her phone a fair wage and thus a decent life. The metals needed to make them are ordered from the Congo, boosting the economy in a country where war is an everyday part of life. We usually don't know the stories behind our shiny mobiles, but the fact is that most of the big manufacturers do dirty hands.

And while we're at it. Smartphones fly out of our hands a lot, and when that happens, it often doesn't end well for the phones. With the Fairphone 2, however, this is not a problem, because it is resistant to falls from a height of up to two meters. And since it's a modular phone, even if something breaks, you can individual components quickly replace (screen, digital camera...).
Fairphone's successor is more expensive, as you will pay 470 euros (calculated), but that's how much a modular phone with 5-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and coated with Gorilla Glass, with a 4-core processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 (2.4 GHz), with 2 GB of system memory, 32 GB of data space (expandable with card microSD), resolution camera 8 million pixels, battery capacity 2420 mAh, two SIM card slots and a modified operating system Android 5.1 Lollipop, designed by Kwamecorp.
