Fantasy and ZF-books, which will soon be made into a movie

Books that will soon become movies.

Good books, like any good art, are a mirror of life. And as such, they are often an important inspiration for those who immerse themselves in their mysterious world. Fantasy and science fiction books are a particularly important source of inspiration for the film industry. The strict regimes of dystopian societies, magical creatures and journeys to other galaxies are stories that always attract both readers and viewers. We present to you a list of ten fantasy and science fiction books that we expect to see in film form soon.

Fantasy and science fiction books soon to be made into a movie:

1. Fahrenheit 451 – Ray Bradbury

Fahrenheit 451 – Ray Bradbury

The book Fahrenheit 451 got its title from the temperature at which the paper of the books spontaneously ignites. Ray Bradbury describes one of the alternative futures of American society, where critical thinking is undesirable - and therefore also reading. Anyone who reads is taken to a mental hospital, and the books are burned. Fahrenheit 451 was first screened in 1966, and HBO will soon film a newer version.

2. Le Transperceneige – Jacques Lob and Jean-Marc Rochette

Although many fantasy and science fiction books do not experience a Slovenian translation, we can take solace (in addition to the originals or English translations) at least with film adaptations. The book by the Chinese writer Liu Cixin describes the time of the Chinese Cultural Revolution, in which aliens intervene. The film will premiere in China this summer, but the date for the European premiere is not yet known.

6. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them - JK Rowling

Wizards, witches, wizards, house elves and goblins around the world are already looking forward to the new wizarding movie from the world of Harry Potter. A novel Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is actually a textbook used on Hogwarts and is only a rough inspiration for the film. We expect the premiere sometime in the fall. Expecto Patronum.

7. Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children - Ransom Riggs

In the hands of Tim Burton, Miss Peregrine's home will be able to be seen with your own eyes.

The Foundation Trilogy, which won the Hugo Award for Best Series of All Time in 1966, is coming to HBO soon. The books describe the work of mathematician Hari Seldon, who invents the concept of "psychohistory" with which she can predict the future, including the fall of the Galactic Empire.

The novel is about a young and poor young man, Robinett, who wins the lottery and buys himself a ticket to the Gateway space station. The Gateway was built by aliens called the Heechee, but they have long since ceased to live there. People have trouble understanding Heechee technology. Through blind experiments, which turn out to be great misery or great fortune for the experimenter, they try to catch up with the logic of the station. In 1992, the story was adapted into a computer game, and soon we expect a film.
