At the end of October, the Dutch design week came to an end, where selected works of graduates of the Design Academy from Eindhoven were also presented.
A chair was also among the exhibited projects Big Rush by Hanna Maring, which focuses on and explores modern weaving methods. By weaving and endlessly wrapping the rope around the metal framework, he creates a new form and dimension at the same time with the help of a traditional technique. With just a frame and a single rope, he builds, assembles, glues, shapes, weaves a stunning chair, which also offers us a visually rich view of the pattern that the sophisticated weaving consists of. Simple ideas are always the best.
