The Celeia Institute Celje is announcing a competition for the best postcard on the topic "Celje - like home". We invite you to capture the moment, the specialness, the detail…. city and take part in a competition where the best photo will be chosen for the new postcard of the city of Celje.
TENDER CONDITIONS
1. The competition lasts from 15.4. up to and including 5/16/2011. The committee will select the photos by 20/05/2011, and the names of the winners will be published on the website by 1/6/2011 www.celeia.info.
2. Professional or amateur photographers can apply
3. The main theme of the competition is "CELJE - LIKE HOME". Within the main category, you can use 6 more subcategories:
- city atmosphere
- castle
- art
- people
-nature (City park, City forest, Šmartinsko lake)
-city at night
Contest participants can send a maximum of 6 photos in black and white or color digital photography. The size of the photos can be max: 1 MB, and the photos must be saved in the following way: last name_name_subject_title of the photo.
4. Works must be submitted in digital format (JPG, JPEG):
a. to mail: postcards.celje@gmail.com (max e-mail size: 10 MB)
b. CD / DVD submitted in person or sent by mail to the address: TIC Celje, Krekov trg 3, 3000 Celje
5. When submitting photos, the author must provide personal information: first and last name, address of permanent residence, email address, telephone number.
The first and last name of the author will be indicated in the photo that will be selected for publication on the postcard.
By submitting the photo, the author agrees that the contest organizer stores and processes his personal data for the purpose of conducting the contest and informing about the selection. The author also agrees to the publication of his name and surname in the list of awardees.
6. By submitting photos, participants confirm the use of their photos to the Celeia Celje Institute and agree that the photographic works may be exhibited, and then become part of the Celeia Celje Institute's archive. The contest organizer reserves the right to publish photos for promotional and marketing purposes in printed or electronic form, on websites and other material that is part of the organizer's regular activities
7. Copyright remains the property of the author. The author of the photograph guarantees that the work is his own creation, that there are no rights of third parties on it, and that no other rights are violated by them.
8. Photos, digital media and other sent materials will not be returned.
9. Photos with morally objectionable or illegal content will be excluded. In the case of photographing people, in order to protect the rights of the depicted persons, we advise the authors to take photos in a public place/event or obtain permission to publish the photographed person.
REWARD
Six photos (one from each sub-category) will be selected. All six selected photos will be printed in the form of postcards, which will later be available in TIC Celje. The author will be listed on the back of the postcard. The commission will choose one winning photo and award the author the main prize: a Nikon Coolpix L120 14.1 MP camera. The other authors whose photos were selected for postcard printing will receive consolation prizes from the Celeia Celje Institute.
The winning photos will be selected by an expert committee in the field of art, culture and tourism, appointed by the Celeia Celje Institute. The evaluation will take into account originality, creativity, expressiveness, aesthetics and technical perfection.
