Ferfud is looking for a boss with a concept. Log in!

The FerFud project, which delighted Slovenian streets last year, is returning this year as well. This time with a renewed concept, as the FerFud truck is looking for a chef with a big idea. The tender is already open, candidates can submit applications until April 10.

Who can be a Ferfud chef?

The task of the candidates is to prepare a proposal for two main dishes and dessert, name them in an interesting way and record a video by presenting yourself and your whole concept. They can apply both individuals and couples, who will have to convince the jury with their culinary idea. The deadline for submission of applications is April 10. A day later, the jury will choose three to five candidates, that will April 12 at Dvor Jezeršek presented their ideas live and cooked the proposed dishes. The winner will be chosen by the members expert juries and an online audience: from April 12 to 17, it will be on the project's website www.ferfud.si online voting for the favorite candidate took place. FerFud chef 2016 will be known April 18.

What awaits the winner?

The winner of the FerFud contest is waiting intensive training at the Jezeršek Culinary Academy, he will be guided by mentors when putting together the dishes, the best Slovenian chefs, including Janez Bratovž, Vesna Čarman, Luka Jezeršek, Gregor Jurkovič, Ksenija Mahorčič, Tanja Pintarič, Uroš Štefelin and Gregor Vračko. He will receive a cash prize of 10,000 euros and monthly payment for the duration of the project. The FerFud truck will get it additional name and disguise, consistent with the idea of a new winner.

Ferfud remains fair

The FerFud truck will start its culinary journey through Slovenia with a new chef and Mitja in the month of May and offered new dishes until September. The very concept of the FerFud project remains the same as last year, the dishes or fine bites will consist of exclusively high-quality Hofer ingredients. It will be possible to pay them either by posting on Facebook or Twitter or at a minimum price equal to the selling value of its ingredients. FerFud also continues its charitable note. The entire income of the project will go to the children under the auspices of the project Godfatherism in Slovenia.
