Yes, it's official now. Ferrari will produce an SUV-crossover. The project is called F16X, and it will see the light of day in 2021.
At Ferrari have already played a little with the innovative four-wheel drive, which we could see for the first time on to the FF model, and later on his successor GTC4Lusso. But despite the resistance, they finally gave in and decided to make the real thing Ferrari SUV, which in all likelihood will also have true four-wheel drive.
How is this new one supposed to be SUV crossover to see, is not yet known, but there is a high probability that the designers will draw inspiration from the mentioned two models. This makes it a design studio Rain Prisk Designs presented the Ferrari SUV concept as they imagined it themselves. The increased ground clearance, the large distance between the tire and the track, the roof racks and even the winch are elements that we are not usually used to in a Ferrari. Ferrari F16X supposed to replace the existing V12 engine from Lusso for V8 engine or even any hybrid version of it. The price should be over 300 thousand, which is slightly more than the price of the GTC4 Lussa.
Like it or not, Ferrari kind of was forced into the production of an SUV, as most direct competitors have already taken a step in this direction. We have selected some of them and present them to you in photo gallery.
