Grounded is a festival of electronic music, critical thought and activism that addresses current social issues by connecting the seemingly incompatible. If it sounds too complicated, then attend the festival and learn for yourself how these three components explain the connection between artificial intelligence and intimacy in modern times, which is also the theme of this year's festival.
What happens to the idea of privacy in the age self-control? Who and what is it for? democracy in the age of automation of justice? What is free thought in time personalized changing of thinking patterns? What is freedom of identity in time always greater impact of our digital footprints on the financial and credit capabilities of our political bodies? How to recognize totalitarianism at a time when corporations know more about their subjects than countries?
V discussions, screenings, presentations, musical performances and gatherings you will be able to answer all these complex questions reasoned and responsible responses. The music part of the festival will include a research audiovisual performance and the installation "Moasis" opened by Kaja Skrbinšek. Among other things, many artists will present themselves, including Kablam, LOFT, R36, Futon and others.
Grounded Festival 2018 can also boast of various venues, where the musical part will take place - the first day will be in the auditorium Modern galleries and Pritličje, the second day at AKC Metelkova in Channel Zero, but it will end in a lesbian club Monocle and the Tiffany Club.
The ticket for the musical part costs until November 5 10 euros, and from 5 to 20 November 12 euros. Tickets will also be sold at entrance, where the lectures and the musical part take place. On November 22, the ticket costs 7 euros, 8 euros on November 23.
