For the third time, the city of Cantalone will emerge in the Istrian forest; a kilometer-long interactive visual installation created by hundreds of artists from around the world. More than a hundred concerts, theater performances, circus shows and other events take place at more than twenty themed venues integrated into the natural environment. A wide variety of structures, scaffolding, and domes grow on pastures and in the forest. Acrobats hang from the trees, painting exhibitions appear among the vineyards and fields, and large puppets move among the bushes. Dance, music, theatre, puppets, circus, painting, masks, architecture, film, land-art. The arts come together to create a unique performance that each viewer experiences in their own way, as they themselves become part of the action. The magical atmosphere is enhanced by children's and creative workshops, as well as seminars and practical workshops for adults, a forest amusement park, a market of art and eco products, a bookstore under the canopy, good food and drink.

The basis of the festival is a scenographically elaborate theatrical environment, which is created during the year, and in the days before the festival, it is upgraded and a kilometer of Istrian forest is transformed into a fairy-tale environment called Cantalone.
