Light Guerrilla is one of the most successful projects that Forum Ljubljana now traditionally presents every year in the Vžigalica Gallery, its surroundings and other locations around the city. This year's, already the 8th edition of the festival, takes place under the auspices of the theme BRIGHT FUTURE.
Although, of course, the festival cannot offer definitive answers to the challenges of the future, they nevertheless designed internationally colored programs with those projects that in a critical or rather satirical way, they expose and question different visions of the time that is yet to come.
This year, the focus will be on the projects they designed domestic and foreign artists of different generations, followers of diverse expressive poetics and narratives, and whose first common denominator is of course the use of various elements of light. As in previous years, the main part of the festival will settle in the immediate vicinity Square of the French Revolution, and with light installations, objects and projections, we will populate many corners of the public space and other exhibition spaces in Ljubljana. This time they are also hanging out with the festival City of women.
