The ten-day student festival (August 24-September 2, 2012), which is taking place this year for the ninth year, will offer a large rock concert in addition to numerous free sports, cultural, "party" and children's activities. Dubioza Kolektiv, Zablujena Generacija, Eva Klinc-SheEva, local bands will perform in Castle Park in Logatec on August 25, 2012 at 21:00 at the main event of the festival, organized by the Club of Logač students, and there will be a surprise at the end of the evening.
This year's festival events remain at the same location as in previous years. In the pleasant surroundings of the Castle Park, on a grassy surface in the shade of trees. Parking spaces are also provided. Despite the fact that the festival has attracted a good number of visitors in previous years, the Club of Logaški students has made the event more exciting this year and brought it closer to the level of related festivals of this type that take place all over Slovenia.
In addition to the main event already mentioned, there will also be ten days of free activities such as: a party, beach volleyball, a three-point basketball tournament, sport climbing, a literary evening, a stand-up evening, a variety of events for the youngest, a poker tournament, spinning, Zumba, yoga…
The opening of the festival will be on Friday, August 24, at 21:00 in Hotedršica with the band Mambo Kings, admission is free.
Tickets for Saturday's Big Rock Concert are already available in advance at Eventima sales points www.eventim.si/), KLŠ, in the Castle Park Club and Navigator.
Entrance fee: 10 euros in advance, 12 euros on the day of the concert, 8 euros for Club members.
LOGAS SUMMER FESTIVAL
The Loga summer festival will take place for the ninth year this year, from 24 August 2012 to 2 September 2012, and will include a variety of sporting, cultural, educational, musical events and activities for the youngest. This year, the organization of the festival was completely taken over by Loga students, who operate under the auspices of the Loga Students' Club. We also invited local associations to participate in the accompanying events. On Friday, August 24, 2012, the ten-day event will be opened by Veselica with the Mambo Kings, and a day later the biggest event of the festival will follow: the Big Rock concert, which will feature Dubioza Kolektiv, Zablujena Generacija, Eva Klinc-SheEva, local bands and the surprise of the evening.
After an evening and a night of fun, sports will come on Sunday. In the organization of the Koš Sports Association, there will be a three-point tournament in street basketball and Koškov živžav for the youngest. Various activities will take place from Monday to Friday. For the youngest, Zumbatomic (Zumba for children), Yoga for children, Children's games without borders and Dance direndaj, for those who want to laugh, we have prepared a Stand-up evening, and for all sports enthusiasts there will be a beach volleyball tournament, Zumba for adults, Sport climbing and Spinning. We will relax by the Gong bath and learn about the gifts of nature together with the Fire Society. All quarto players will be able to take part in the Poker tournament, and a cultural evening will be provided by the Zeleni oblaki Literary Society. At the end of the festival, we are also preparing a Party in the Castle Park and an evening with DJ Ziggi in the Navigator pub.
A team of young and energetic students, who work entirely voluntarily and without fees, have prepared a diverse program of events. We are sure that this year's festival, Logaško summer, is well organized and we hope to attract a large number of visitors.
