Festival Maribor is a festival with a long tradition, the core of which is the Maribor Festival Orchestra, made up of renowned musicians, members of local and foreign orchestras. This year it will take place between September 8 and 18.
There is more than half a century of history behind the Maribor Festival. The festival, which developed from the international chamber music festival Glasbeni September, maintains the tradition of quality musical events in the Styrian capital and its immediate surroundings.

It represents the core of the festival Maribor Festival orchestra, consisting of renowned musicians, members of domestic and foreign orchestras. During the pre-production period, the festival functions as a kind of musical laboratory for the intensive creation of musicians who will present their creations to the audience this year between September 8 and 18. The concerts will take place in venues such as the Kazinska dvorana, the SNG Maribor hall, the Union hall, the renovated Minorite church in Maribor, Ptuj Castle and Dornava Manor, as well as in the streets and squares of Maribor's city center.
