The tradition of the Serbian nation is a rich and inexhaustible treasury that must be opened, discovered and learned, and thus protected from oblivion the priceless values that build the beauty of the spirit of this nation. Part of the Serbs and the Serbian tradition are certainly also national costumes. They communicate and reveal a lot... you just need to stop a little, look, feel and they themselves will tell you the story of the nation and the people who wore this costume.
SKUD Vidovdan on FRIDAY 7.10.2011 at 19:00 at the Črnuče Cultural Center is organizing "Festival of national costumes". In addition to folk dances and songs, at the Festival you will also get to know the national costumes that are typical of each region. In addition to the host of the event, SKUD Vidovdan from Ljubljana, the following will also be presenting themselves: from Kranj, KD Brdo, SKPD Sveti Sava and MKD Sveti Kiril in Metodij, from Ljubljana, in addition to the local one, KUD Mladost; and from Nova Gorica, members of SKD Sloga are also coming to us.
After the performance at 9:30 PM, there will be a BIG PARTY with LIVE MUSIC (Dejan Erceg's orchestra), at the restaurant "ČEZ CESTO" on Kavčičeva Street in Ljubljana (Former SCT).
