Nina Kraviz, a mega techno DJ star from Russia and one of the most influential names in dance music in the last five years, is coming to Ambasada Gavioli on April 24th.
Nina Kraviz belongs to a group of names that are considered to mean that even before the winter of the current year actually says goodbye, the dates of the next winter season are already opening. In short, what we will experience this April is the work of last summer. Yes - so far ahead, the dates of some names in the electronic scene are busy.
After moving from her native Siberian city of Irkutsk to Moscow, everything really begins for Nina. She replaces her original intention to train as a dental technician with an eternal love for music, which has accompanied her since her teenage years, when she was surrounded by her father's extraordinary record collection. She also tries herself as a journalist for a Russian music magazine Bird and last but not least, it becomes part of the competition in 2006 Red Bull Music Academy in Melbourne. This is also where the turning point happens, when she becomes confident and truly believes that she is on the right path. In 2008, it starts with a series of events in a famous Moscow club Propaganda, which quickly become the hottest parties in town. Slowly but steadily, she gathers a devoted crowd that follows her and supports her every step of the way. Just a year later, she releases an EP Pain In My Ass on the Rekids label, it really opens the door to global markets.
