Kino Otok is coming, a festival of cinemas from Africa, Asia, Latin America and Eastern Europe, which brings a lot of socializing with film art.
The old town center of Izola will again turn into a real movie island, in the center of which na Manzioli square there is a summer cinema. This is also the central festival venue, where we expect a program concept based on an authentic and in-depth film dialogue between all festival participants this year as well.
A diverse range of films and authors is expected, tenth Kino Otok and will be opened by an award-winning festival giant Mahamat-Saleh Haroun. Among other things, we will be able to see the British comedy Svengali, which impresses with an excellent musical background. Starring Vicky McClure and Jonny Owen will also be guests at the festival. It is also worth mentioning the winner of the Rome festival, movie Tire, in which Branko Završan also stars.
