Of the 15 independent films whose titles are adorned with names Marvel superheroes, is only one named after a superheroine: Captain Marvel. Now that will change: it is coming to cinemas black Widow– an action spy thriller and the story of a Russian spy. The main character Natasha Romanoff, played by Scarlett Johansson, we first met in Iron Man 2. Wondering how she's coming back when she met her end in Avengers: Endgame? The answer lies in the time in which Black Widow is set. It was supposed to take place before the story of the film Avengers: Endless War.
The Avengers split up, so Natasha heads to Russia in a bid to be reunited with the only family she has: secret agents we'll be able to watch as Rachel Weisz, David Harbour and Florence Pugh. It's no surprise that the film is packed with action, but what many may not have expected is that Black Widow is the least similar to the other Avengers films out of the entire series. The biggest difference lies in the fact that the film is mainly about Natasha's past and her reunification with an unusual family. We are already looking forward to it!

2. Stillwater

Film director Stillwater it is Tom McCarthy, an Oscar winner in 2016. This time he turned his energies to a crime drama that tackles tough legal issues and detective work. McCarthy found inspiration in the case of Amanda Knox, and the story is set in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Matt Damon stars in the role an oil worker Bill Baker is shaken by the news that his estranged daughter, a student in Marseilles, has been sentenced to prison for murder. The murder, for which he claims that Mr she did not sin.

3. The Green Knight (The Green Knight)

The film's inspiration lies in a poem from the 14th century, and the story begins at a New Year's banquet in Camelot. Fear-inducing The Green Knight, in whose role we will see Ralph Ineson, there he declares that anyone can hit him with an ax, provided that he can repay him for this action within a year. King Arthur's nephew, Sir Gawan (Dev Patel), has too much courage and not enough brains, who accepts the challenge and cuts off the Green Knight's head. But the monster survives, picks up its head, slowly moves away, giving goosebumps to both those sitting at the round table and the spectators.
He directed the film David Lowery, who wanted a story that was more relatable to viewers than the average Hollywood fantasy. "We wanted a film that would be unique especially in the way it was told," said Lowery in one of the interviews. We can not wait!

4. How It Ends

This movie may have been made during a pandemic, but it's guaranteed to bring a smile to our faces, even though the content might not let it be at first glance. They are responsible for the direction and script Zoe Lister-Jones and Daryl Wein, which put the situation in threatening circumstances. Namely, we will observe what happened the day before an asteroid was supposed to fall to earth and thus announce a complete end of the world. Lister-Jones also appears in the comedy as Liza, who spends her last hours in the company of herself or their younger version, with whom they walk the streets of Los Angeles. All she wants is to be able to catch one last party and see her friends, relatives and even exes one last time. The director marked as the main messages acceptance and forgiveness. Sounds interesting!
