There are various reasons for this problem – from wearing inappropriate footwear, long-term condition to lack of moisture. If you want to avoid expensive treatments and prefer to use natural ingredients, here are some simple solutions that you can prepare at home.

With these preparations, you will restore the softness and healthy appearance of your feet.

1. Using vegetable oil for deep hydration

Vegetable oil is one of the best natural remedies for dry skin. Regular use of the oil helps to moisturize and soften cracked heels.

Apply a layer after washing your feet in the evening oil on dry and cracked places on the heels. Then put on thick cotton socks to keep warm and improve oil absorption. In the morning, wash your feet with cold water. Repeat the process every other night for long lasting results.

2. Banana and avocado – Natural foot mask

The combination of banana and avocado creates a natural mask that intensively moisturizes and nourishes the dry skin on the heels. Use maturely banana and half avocado, crush them well into a paste. Apply the mask evenly on the feet, especially on dry and cracked areas. Leave on for 15-20 minutes, then rinse with warm water. Repeat the process every other day for best results.

3. Vaseline and lemon juice

Vaseline in combination with lemon juice is an excellent preparation for cracked skin on the heels, as it moisturizes and restores dry skin. Soak your feet in warm water for 15-20 minutes, then pat them dry. Mix a spoon Vaseline and the juice of one lemons and gently massage the mixture into the dry parts of the feet. After application, put on woolen socks and leave overnight. The next morning, wash off with lukewarm water. Do the procedure every other night.

4. Honey bath for moisturizing

Honey is extremely nourishing and moisturizing, and it also has natural antibacterial properties that help nourish damaged skin. Mix 250 ml honey with warm water (about 1 liter). Soak your feet in a honey bath for 15-20 minutes and then gently rub your heels. Repeat the process every night until you get the desired results.

5. Olive oil for soft and well-groomed feet

Virgin olive oil is known for its moisturizing properties, which nourish the skin and restore its elasticity. Use a cotton ball to apply a few drops olive oil on dry places on the heels and massage in a circular motion for about 10-15 minutes. After the massage, put on cotton socks and leave it on for an hour, then rinse with lukewarm water.
