On Italy's Lake Iseo, everything is ready to bring to life the project created by the Bulgarian artist Christo and baptized as the Floating Pier. It is a 4.5 kilometer long installation that connects the town of Sulzano and the island of Monte Isola. It will be open to the public from June 18 to July 3, 2016.
Bulgarian artist Christo, which is known for artistic interventions such as dressing sculptures and buildings, together with the Italian curator and critic Germano Celanto realized another unusual project. On Italy's Lake Iseo namely, he set 4.5 kilometers long floating pier, which leads to the island of San Paolo and Monte Isola (this can only be reached by boat) and the coastal town of Sulzano.

The art installation will cost 16 days (and 10 million euros), namely from June 18 to July 3, 2016, when visitors can be for free "walk on water", and then there will be a floating pier dismantled and recycled.
