The vegan community is gaining new members every day. More and more people are deciding to completely give up products of animal origin. The revolution is happening not only in the field of food, but also in the footwear industry.
Designer Nina Fabert from the company BEYOND stunned the public with the launch vegan sneakers made from mushrooms. In addition to mushroom leather, natural textiles and a special coating will also be used in the production of footwear.
The company's technical team will be in charge of the production process Nat-2. Tree sponge in combination with other natural materials, such as microfibers from recycled bottles and organic cotton, contributes to the high quality of the footwear. The sole is made of rubber and the insole is made of cork.
Sneakers that handmade in Italy, will try to convince consumers with a classic look and incredible softness. The material from which they are produced resembles leather at first glance. It is obtained from beech lighters – a mushroom that lives as a parasite on birches and beeches. The mushroom has a disinfecting and antibacterial effect.
After long-term research and numerous tests, the sneakers, made of natural material that is not chemically treated, are finally ready for use.
