As many as 16 new electric and hybrid Ford vehicles are coming to Slovenia in the next three years. The first of them hit our roads, the Ford Mondeo Hybrid, which combines the best of two worlds when it seamlessly transitions from electric to gasoline drive or a combination of both drives.
Let's take a look at some of the key advantages of the hybrid Ford Mondeo Hybrid.
Automatic battery charging with advanced gasoline and electricity connection
Ford hybrid cars have two sources of propulsion, gasoline and electric. They intelligently switch between the two to ensure optimal power and consumption according to the driver's needs at a given moment. Their advantage is that they do not need to be connected to chargers to charge the battery, as it is charged with regenerative braking or with the help of the gasoline engine, which ensures maximum range, without fear of the battery being discharged.
To charge the battery, the regenerative braking technology captures up to 90 percent of the braking energy that would otherwise be lost, contributing to low CO2 emissions (from 96 g/km) and low fuel consumption (from 5.5 l per 100 km onwards) .

Environmental care with low cost of ownership
Mondeo Hybrid is the right choice for all those who, in addition to enjoying driving, also want to contribute to a cleaner environment and at the same time save on fuel expenses. The highly sophisticated powertrain enables driving in three driving modes – only electric drive, only gasoline engine or a combination of both. Switching between them is imperceptible, as the smart switching system constantly monitors driving and ensures an optimal driving experience. The Mondeo Hybrid thus appeals to ecologically conscious drivers and is ideal for a combination of urban driving and suburban driving. With it, you can do up to 60 percent of driving in the city in electric mode, and the cost of ownership is 8-12 percent lower than a petrol or diesel Mondeo. This is also why the vehicle retains its value longer than other alternatives.
The only hybrid wagon in its class
Its elegant design appeals to business buyers and companies, and as the only hybrid station wagon in its class, it flirts with families who want economical and practical driving. The new Ford Mondeo Hybrid wagon provides up to 1,508 liters of luggage space with the rear seats folded down, and the flat cargo floor, which hides additional storage space, makes loading and unloading easier.
The driver's experience comes first
The Mondeo is designed and equipped with Ford's smart technology, and like other Fords, it also features responsive performance and an excellent driving experience with seamless switching between the two drives. For the driver and front passenger, in addition to heated and cooled seats, there are also seats with multiple points of support for your back, and the additional functionality can even offer you a massage.
Drive smart
The lane keeping system uses a front-facing camera to detect if you are unintentionally drifting out of your lane. If you react too slowly or not at all to its warnings, the lane keeping system can offer steering assistance to steer you safely back into the correct lane. Active Parking Assist steers you into and out of parallel and perpendicular parking spaces with the simple push of a button.
He sees what you miss
The collision avoidance system with pedestrian and cyclist detection is designed to reduce the severity of accidents and in some cases prevent a frontal collision. The blind spot information system uses radar sensors to detect vehicles that cannot be seen due to the vehicle's blind spot, while the traffic sign recognition system detects permanent or temporary traffic signals on or above the road. The speed limit or no overtaking symbol appears on the instrument panel and adjusts to actual changes in the limits.
Stand out in your own way
The Mondeo Hybrid is available in 4-door and wagon versions and in two versions: Titanium and the sophisticated Vignale. At the presentation of the new Mondeo Hybrid, Ford also impressed with an attractive price. The hybrid limousine with Titanium equipment is available for as little as €25,990, and the station wagon for just over €27,000.
