With their signature sound, soft guitar touches and polyphonic vocals woven together in new single Coming of Age, Foster the People announce their second album, Supermodel.
That they are Foster the People still relevant three years after the release of the first Torches album, we are reminded every now and then on the radio waves of their big hit Pumped Up Kicks, which shone at the top of the music charts in 2011. This year, the three-member indie pop band from Los Angeles will conquer them again with a new album, the release of which the boys announced with the video for the single Coming of Age. This is the third of the 12 songs that will dance into the world of music on March 18 on a record called Supermodel.
Frontman of the band Mark Foster, who during the creation of the album drew inspiration for it while writing the music for the film Little Boy by director Alejandro Monteverdo, told Rolling Stone that the upcoming album will be more organic and in a way that the audience would not otherwise expect for the second album. Supermodel is a big step up for the group, which includes Foster and Cubbie Fink and Mark Pontius, and all three are very excited to see how it will be received by listeners.
