On the wings of his new album Tape Deck Heart, the English folk-punk poet Frank Turner is coming to Kino Šiška in early March.

As they wrote in the announcement of the event, Frank Turner "managed to pour the punk heart into the songs of the singer-songwriter format, whiten them with folk-punk bouncy and inspire colorful crowds of music fans of the rock/pop/indie/punk/hardcore range."
Frank Turner in Cinema Šiška comes on the wings of the latest, fifth album, the central theme of which is change. The album was recorded in Los Angeles with his faithful backing band The Sleeping Souls (who are coming to Ljubljana with him), and on it Turner reveals his soul more than ever before. It is his most personal album to date, full of sincere emotions.
In his career, since 2005, when he started his independent journey, Turner has made a huge change and through incendiary concerts and as an icon of the punk poet, he has slowly ventured into more pop waters, and he describes himself as "an entertainer who leans on the vaudeville tradition, theaters and variety shows.”
