Weekend workshop for individuals and couples in personal crisis
On the verge of divorce? Is it a job for you? Have you witnessed a tragic event at home or elsewhere? Faced with a difficult life choice? All of these are overwhelming tribulations that can hit us hard. When we find ourselves in a crisis, we want to get out as soon as possible, but "quick recipes" do not help. We are responsible for the crisis. Therefore, it is necessary to regulate yourself first and find a safe relationship. In doing so, learn the importance of the body and its communication in distress. Too often people rely only on the resources of reason, but we overlook the importance of body communication. What the final way out of the crisis will be depends on our willingness to listen to ourselves and our bodies, and on our willingness to work more decisively for a safe, honest and mutually responsible relationship.
Who is the workshop intended for?
Adult individuals and couples in personal crisis or severe life hardships that make them unhappy, disappointed, insecure, helpless, sick. They feel that their relationships are losing value and that something needs to be done. At the workshop, we deal with questions such as:
- HOW DO WE "FALL" INTO A CRISIS AND HOW DO WE ACCEPT IT?
- WHAT HAPPENS TO OUR BODY AND RELATIONSHIPS UNDER STRESS?
- HOW DO WE EXPERIENCE OURSELVES, OTHERS AND THE WORLD AT THIS TIME?
- WHAT DOES THE BODY TELL US AND HOW DO WE RECOGNIZE OUR NEEDS?
- HOW DO WE TRUST OURSELVES AND OUR RELATIONSHIPS TO FACE A CRISIS SUCCESSFULLY?
- WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO STAY IN A SAFE RELATIONSHIP?
Benefit from the workshop
Greater willingness to work on yourself and awareness that:
• participants are both actors in the crisis and observers of others, so they can connect with each other,
• we learn to recognize and value bodily communication (sensations, emotions, feelings),
• ourselves in a crisis: we consider, accept, trust each other, calm down and follow genuine needs,
• we can take responsibility for adversity, and look for a way out of it in a safe relationship,
• we use the acquired knowledge and skills both in our private life and elsewhere
Way of working
The workshops take place as a combination of expert presentation of content, therapeutic conversation and role play on a selected topic (we use genograms if necessary). The work is emotionally intensive, so in order to achieve optimal results, the number of participants is limited to 10. The method of work is adapted to the group of participants who actively participate.
He leads the workshop Edin Durakovic, univ. dipl. cult, doctoral student ZDT
