From Game Boy to Atari: the devices we miss the most

Technological progress eats its own children. Devices riddled with circuits come and go from our lives. Some are only around for a short time and quickly slip from memory, some manage to unravel the formula of survival and live to a good old age, but at the same time they live with us even when they give way to younger, prettier and better people. We have collected some of those that are deeply rooted in our hearts in the photo gallery.

Today it means to bet on technological product like betting on a horse in a horse race. The outcome is uncertain. We have people tons of choices, that's why only the best succeed, and even those sometimes have an unfortunate "performance".

Computer/Mobile Technology has been spoiling us on the level of personal use for quite some time now, and logically along the way we have accumulated quite a few devices, which we have also emotionally attached. Maybe today indeed telephones we change like shirts, but sometimes we used them to weave more deep ties and we did not so easily exchange them for younger and prettier ones. They were like that one shirt that we've worn for a hundred years and still keep in our closet. You will probably have a hard time finding your previous phone while you have it Game Boy still in the drawer. It just goes to show how relationships it is changing devices, not so much because those used to be so much better, but because today everything revolves around them. Back then they were rare, something special, today they are a necessity. It might be the following time ran out, but theirs will never be able to fill the void left by their withdrawal descendants.
