We are only surprised by the fact that fixed lens it does not have the same water resistance as the case and therefore needs a separate adapter to protect it from rain.
Although it's not waterproof per se, thankfully the 23mm f/2 lens will by no means disappoint. The results of the improved optics are like night and day compared to the previous model, and the sharpness has not only improved in the center, but the edges of the photos will also be very sharp. But the X100V is not primarily intended for recording, although it can certainly do that. It is a high-quality "compact" for the pocket, with a large sensor and an excellent fixed lens, which will be able to capture exceptional photos of everyday events. But the price is around 1,500 euros placed alongside the X-T3 model, which allows changing lenses. The X100V model will on sale at the end of February.
