Ingenious British designer Gavin Munro has found a way to create stunning and eco-friendly furniture by letting Mother Nature do all the hard work. The father of Full Grown furniture grows furniture in pots. Yes, you read that right. Using a special method, he planted four hundred tables, chairs and parasols for the coming year.
It is hard to imagine that a piece of furniture would excite us so bloody much. And the furniture Full Grown it's not ordinary furniture. Gavin Munro, the genius who came up with the idea of furniture from a pot, grows young trees in specially designed plastic molds, guides and prunes the branches into the correct shape even before vaccination. This ensures that the joints of the furniture are extremely strong. If necessary, the trees are then split to grow together into one piece.
Ecological "3D printing" that uses air, earth and sun as its source of material, it takes more time than simply cutting, screwing and sawing furniture wood, and is therefore much more an environmentally friendly alternative and the end results are stunning.
We can secure the furniture in advance at official website, and the first pieces will be available in early 2016.
